THE AMENDMENT OF GOVERNMENT REGULATION NO. 33/1996
ON
BONDED STORAGE PLACES

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering :

that within the framework of enhancing the competitiveness of export products, it is deemed necessary to amend Government Regulation No.33/1996 on bonded storage places.

In view of :

• 1. Article 5 paragraph (2) of the Constitution of 1945;
• 2. Law No.10/1995 on customs affairs (Statute Book of 1995 No.75, Supplement to Statute Book No.3612);
• 3. Government Regulation No.33/1996 on bonded storage places.

HAS DECIDED:

To stipulate :

THE GOVERNMENT REGULATION ON THE AMENDMENT OF GOVERNMENT REGULATION NO.33/1996 ON BONDED STORAGE PLACES.

Article I

Government Regulation No.33/1996 on bonded storage places, shall be amended as follows:

1. Article 7 paragraph (1) shall be amended so that it reads as follows:

"Article 7

(1) The determination of a zone or place as a bonded zone (KB) and the licensing of the bonded zone operator (PKB) shall be stipulated by decrees of the Minister of Finance."

2. A new provision shall be supplemented to become Article 7a., which reads as follows:

" Article 7a.

In a bonded zone, warehousing or goods storage activities shall be allowed."

Article II

This government regulation shall come into force as from the date of promulgation.

For public cognizance, this government regulation shall be promulgated by publishing it in the Statute Book of the Republic of Indonesia.
